Andy Flower expects Ravi Bopara to return for third Test against South Africa

England coach Andy Flower expects Ravi Bopara to return to the side for the third Test against South Africa at Lord s, given his personal problems are over.

“It’s disappointing for Ravi, obviously, but it opens the door for another player.It doesn’t close the door on Ravi, though” Flower was quoted as saying by Cricket 365.

The all-rounder will make return to England Lions squad for their four-day match against Australia A at Old Trafford in Manchester. Bopara, who withdrew from the second Test against South Africa citing “personal reasons”, will be replacing James Taylor.

Taylor was named as Bopara s replacement for the second Test being played at Headingley.

Bopara failed to make a mark fell for a duck and 22 as England lost the first Test by an innings and 12-run defeat in the first Test at Kennington Oval.
