Anjum Chopra, Isa Guha, Lisa Sthalekar and Melanie Jones to grace IPL 2015 as commentators

The Indian Premier League (IPL) 2015 edition will be enriched by the presence of leading women commentators, who have already graced international cricket with their inputs in recent times. Indian Premier League 2015 schedule: IPL 8 match time table with venue details

According to IPL’s official website, former women cricketers Anjum Chopra, Isa Guha, Lisa Sthalekar and Melanie Jones will be part of the commentary team during the six weeks of IPL 8.

Anjum and Isa have already been part of the IPL team on previous occasions. However, they were either seen as hosts or as part of the Extra Innings team. Both the cricketers have experience of working as studio expert over the last few years. Isa was part of the Ashes commentary team and recently became the first female summariser for BBC Radio 4’s Test Match Special.

Former Australian all-rounder Lisa has played eight Tests, 125 One-Day Internationals (ODIs) and 54 Twenty2- Internationals (T20Is). Melanie played five Tests and 61 ODIs for Australia between 1998 and 2003.
