The second match of the T20I series between India and South Africa will be played on Thursday in Mullanpur. The hosts dominated the visitors in the first game as they got a huge win by 101 runs.
However, Suryakumar Yadav’s side are currently ruling the series by 1-0. They will look to fix some mistakes and blunders from the first match as the team’s top order struggled, but the star all-rounder Hardik Pandya played a remarkable innings as he scored 59 runs off 20 balls and helped the team to reached the decent score of 175/6. Then the bowling attack handled the charge and wiped South Africa’s inning for just 74 and sealed a massive win.
The second match of the series will be important. All eyes will be on Team India playing XI especially on the opening pair Shubman Gill and Abhishek Sharma. Both players need to destroy South Africa’s bowling line-up and give a good start to the team.
Speaking upon the skipper of the Indian team, Suryakumar Yadav, the star still failed to play a great innings as he got appreciation from the whole cricket world for his sensational leadership quality and current stats. All eyes will be on him to see how he batts in the upcoming game.
The spinners would be the same for the coming game as star playera Axar Patel and Varun Chakaravarthy took 2 important wickets in the last game. However, Axar also played a great knock of 23 runs off 21 balls. The biggest question is ‘will Sanju Samson get a place in the playing XI’ as the young player, Jitesh Sharma, failed to impress everyone.
In the pace department, Arshdeep Singh and Jasprit Bumrah will take charge to wipe out the batting line-up of South Africa. However, Hardik Pandya will play a major role in the team to dominate the visitors.
