Arjun Tendulkar bowls in England nets ahead of ENG-AUS match at Lord’s

Ahead of the big Australia-England match in the ICC Cricket World Cup 2019, England team came face-to-face with a ‘Tendulkar’ during their net session. Nope, not Sachin, but his son Arjun.

Arjun, a budding cricketer, trains at the MCC academy and the Lord’s cricket ground and with Australia taking on hots England in the Match 32 of the tournament at Lord’s, it gave the Arjun the opportunity bowl at the England internationals as a net bowler.

The video of Arjun bowling in the nets was shared by cricket.com.au on their social media accounts.

 

Arjun was most recently in the news, when he produced a peach of a delivery that dismissed Surrey second XI’s opener Nathan Tilley, while playing for MCC Young Cricketers team. The 19-year-old, a left-arm pacer, has had his share of bowling at the nets to international players.

Last year, when Indian toured England, Arjun bowled in the Indian nets at Lord’s ahead of the second Test.
