Arjun Tendulkar, who has been selected for the India Under-19s squad, was seen in England receiving advice from Indian head coach Ravi Shastri. Tendulkar will be a part of the 2 four-day matches in Sri Lanka. India landed in London on June 23 for their long tour of 3 T20Is, 3 ODIs and 5 Test matches. Before the England tour, India will play 2 T20I games against Ireland on June 27 and 29.

Tendulkar had earlier bowled to Virat Kohli and others in the Wankhede nets when New Zealand had toured India. Shastri, along with bowling coach Bharat Arun, were spotted advising Tendulkar now. The India’s tour of England starts from July 3.

In the press conference before departing to London, Shastri had spoken on the Indian team’s preparation ahead of the big tour: From a preparation point of view, it is ideal. The players will get to play the limited-overs leg first, first the T20Is, followed by the ODIs. By the time, the Test matches commence, almost after a month, we will have plenty of time to get used to the conditions there.
