Arjun Tendulkar, son of cricket legend and former India captain Sachin Tendulkar, is officially engaged. In a private ceremony held in Mumbai on Wednesday, the left-arm pacer exchanged rings with Saaniya Chandok. Since the news broke, fans have been eager to know more about his fiancée and her family background.

Saaniya is an entrepreneur in the pet care industry and the founder of Mr. Paws Pet Spa & Store LLP, a premium pet grooming and retail brand based in Mumbai. She is also the granddaughter of renowned business magnate Ravi Ghai.

Ravi Ghai is the Chairman of the Graviss Group, a prominent name in the hospitality and food industries, with ventures including the InterContinental Hotel and The Brooklyn Creamery. A graduate of Cornell University’s School of Hotel Administration, he returned to India in 1967 to take over the family business from his father, Iqbal Krishan (IK) Ghai.

Under his leadership, Kwality Ice Cream became one of India’s most iconic dessert brands, known for its chocobars, mango duets, and cassatas. He also introduced the Baskin-Robbins franchise to the South Asian Association for Regional Cooperation (SAARC) region. Today, he serves as the Non-Executive Chairman of Graviss Hospitality Ltd and holds directorships in Perfect Livestock LLP and Kwality Real Estates Pvt Ltd.

In FY 2023–24, Graviss Food Solutions Private Limited reported revenues of ₹624 crore, reflecting a 20% year-on-year growth.

As for Arjun, he plays domestic cricket for Goa and is known for his ability to contribute with both bat and ball. In 17 First-Class matches, he has taken 37 wickets and scored 532 runs. In 24 T20 games, he has picked up 27 wickets and scored 119 runs, while in 18 List A matches, he has taken 25 wickets and 102 runs to his name.
