Former India cricketer Arshad Ayub has been elected as the president of Hyderabad Cricket Association (HCA). The panel led by him won different posts in the HCA elections held yesterday (September 7).

According to a HCA release, Narender Goud, Surender Kumar Agarwal, Prakash Chand Jain, Syed Moizuddin, Yadgiri have been elected as the vice presidents. While John Manoj is the new Hon. Secretary, Vijayanand and Purushotham Agarwal are Joint Secretaries. Devaraj is Hon. Treasurer. The release added that 12 others have been elected as the Executive Committee members.

Ayub also maintains a cricket academy to groom youngsters near Masab Tank in Hyderabad.
