Peter Siddle, famous for his banana-filled diet is intending to target England’s swashbuckling middle-order batsman Kevin Pietersen and their captain Alastair Cook in the Ashes 2013-14.

“It would have been nice to have wrecked Kevin’s career before now, but we’ll see how we go this week. It is always a tough contest to play against him, a real challenge. But I have bowled all right against him the last couple of times,” said Siddle as reported by Express.

Incidentally, Siddle has a good record against Pietersen, as he has already dismissed him eight times.

Siddle has also made it clear that he wants to target Cook. “We have always targeted Cook. He’s the man that opens up the batting, he’s the captain and he’s the one we want to put under pressure.”
