Australian cricket is in shambles and criticisms are flying thick and fast as they lost the second Ashes Test at Lord’s. However, there a few comments tin jest from an unexpected corner – Cricket Germany as reported by Sydney Morning Herald. Poking fun at Australia’s misery, the governing body of the game in Germany tweeted on Sunday that if Australia wanted a fair contest, they are only an hour’s flight away from England.
“#Ashes #ReturnTheUrn” slightly optimistic with that hashtag chaps. If you fancy a competitive game we are only an hours flight from London

Later on, they tweeted saying that it was only a joke.
Dear Australian fans, was only a joke #mytweetnotyourbatting

Australia have lost the first two Tests in the ongoing Ashes and although they showed fight in the first Test, they slipped to a crushing defeat at Lord’s. Meanwhile, Michael Clarke is still optimistic of making comeback in the Ashes, but that seems to be a huge ask for them.
