As expected, all the five players, including the skipper, who were rested for the Afghanistan game, are back in the XI – Yuzvendra Chahal, Jasprit Bumrah, Bhuvneshwar Kumar, Shikhar Dhawan and the skipper himself.

For Bangladesh, Mashrafe Mortaza have gone in with an extra bowler in 27-year-old Nazmul Islam at the expense of top-order batsman Mominul Haque.

This is the third big final between India and Bangladesh (Asia Cup 2016 – T20 and Nidahas Trophy 2018 – T20) and India have the upper hand winning both the previous encounters in the final.
