India will face Oman in their final Group A match of the Asia Cup 2025, but the game is a dead rubber since India have already qualified for the Super Four with two wins, while Oman are out after losing both games. This gives India a chance to rotate their squad before their big clash against Pakistan in two days. Reports suggest that the Gautam Gambhir-led management may rest star pacer Jasprit Bumrah, which could allow either Arshdeep Singh or Harshit Rana to feature in the playing XI.

India, having already qualified for the Super Four, are likely to rest Jasprit Bumrah as part of workload management.

Arshdeep Singh is the top contender to replace him. He is just one wicket away from becoming the first Indian bowler to reach 100 T20I wickets. Harshit Rana is also an option if the management decides to rotate more players.

Another possible change could involve Hardik Pandya, who often deals with injury concerns. If he is rested, Rinku Singh may be brought into the XI. Harshit Rana could also feature in this scenario.

Tilak Varma and Sanju Samson, who haven’t had many chances to bat so far in the Asia Cup, are expected to keep their places in the playing XI.

India predicted XI vs Oman:

Abhishek Sharma, Shubman Gill, Suryakumar Yadav (c), Tilak Varma, Sanju Samson (wk), Shivam Dube, Axar Patel, Rinku Singh/Harshit Rana, Kuldeep Yadav, Varun Chakravarthy, Arshdeep Singh.
