Asia Cup: Shakib out as Bangladesh bat in virtual semi-final against Pakistan
Bangladesh were forced to leave out allrounder Shakib Al Hasan due to a fractured finger as Mashrafe Mortaza opted to bat after winning the toss.

In the virtual semi-final clash of the Asia Cup, Bangladesh won the toss and opted to bat against Pakistan in the final Super 4 match. Having beaten Afghanistan in their previous match, Bangladesh were forced to leave out allrounder Shakib Al Hasan due to a fractured finger. The other changes were the inclusions of opener Soumya Sarkar, Rubel Hossain and Mominul Haque.
From the side that lost comprehensively by nine wickets to India on Sunday, Pakistanâs only change was that they left out Mohammad Amir and replaced him with another left-arm pacer, Junaid Khan. The winner of the match faces India in the final on Friday.
