Bangladesh captain Mashrafe Mortaza won the toss and elected to bat first against Afghanistan at the Sheikh Zayed Stadium, Abu Dhabi on Friday.

Bangladesh have made changes with an extra spinner Nazmul Islam making his debut and Imrul Kayes, called in to join the squad after the league stage, replacing allrounder Mosaddek Hossain and pacer Rubel Hossain.

While for Afghanistan, Samiullah Shenwari once again replaces Najibullah Zadran in the middle-order. Afghanistan are coming in to the game after a close loss to Pakistan while Bangladesh lost to India in their opening Supr 4 fixture. And that makes this match a virtual knockout with the losing team almost certain not to make it to the final.
