Pakistan captain Sarfraz Ahmed won the toss for the second time against India in the Asia Cup 2018 and elected to bat once again at the Dubai International Stadium, Dubai on Sunday.

Pakistan have made two changes from their last fixture against Afghanistan, which they won by a three wickets, with Usman Khan and Haris Sohail dropped in favour of fit-again legspinner Shadab Khan and pacer Mohammad Amir.

India are unchanged.Pakistan skipper Sarfraz made a surprise choice at the toss opting to bat again, despite teams preferring to chase.

After India bundled out Pakistan for 162 at the same ground in the league stage, it was expected that if Srafraz’s wins the toss he would bat first, but the skipper said after winning the toss that he is opting to bat first as it is a used pitch and will subsequently get slow as the game progresses.

“It’s a used pitch. Looks like a flat wicket so we would like to put a good score on the board today.” he said.
