Bangladesh have lost Shakib Al Hasan in the 10th over of the match off the bowling of Ravichandran Ashwin and was soon followed by the run out of Mushfiqur Rahim for just four in Asia Cup T20 2016 final at Mirpur. Shakib and Sabbir Rahman were going along well, but were living dangerously. Shakib eventually managed to top edge on straight into the hands of Jasprit Bumrah, who was standing at the short fine leg fence. Bangladesh will look to build a good partnership to ensure that they reach score close to 120 or so. It will not be easy against an Indian side, who have been good in the death overs, with the likes of Jasprit Bumrah and Ashis Nehra in the side. The match has been reduced to 15 overs per side after rain delayed the toss initially. Live Cricket Scorecard: India vs Bangladesh, Asia Cup T20 2016 final

Earlier, Soumya Sarkar dismissed for 14 off nine deliveries and his partner Tamim Iqbal was the next to go for 17-ball 13 in the final of the Asia Cup T20 2016 final at Mirpur. MS Dhoni started things off with Ashwin. The opening batsmen Tamim Iqbal and Sarkar looked positive initially, but the bowlers did not give anything away and kept things tight. Ashish Nehra and Jasprit Bumrah were on the money and did not give away many runs. Tamim kept pressing on the pedal, but the Indian bowlers somehow managed to restrict him. India still have the likes of Ravindra Jadja and Hardik Pandya, who can come on and get some breakthroughs for India. Live Updates: India vs Bangladesh, Asia Cup 2016 Final IND vs BAN at Mirpur

Sarkar  took on Nehra in the fourth over, which got Dhoni to make some field changes. Bangladesh had made a good, steady start by this time when Sabbir Rahman had walked into the crease. Tamim and Rahman will look to build a good partnership here and help Bangladesh to a good score from here. India had earlier won the toss and elected to bowl first.
