South Korea qualify for cricket semi-finals

South Korea on Monday trumped China by five wickets at Incheon to qualify for the semi-finals of the men’s cricket competition in Asian Games 2014. After setting a target of 88, South Korea restricted China to 82 for seven after their allotted 10 overs in the quater-final clash.
For the winners, Daesik Sung starred with the bat, slamming two sixes and two fours each to score 33 off just 16 balls. Opening batsman Sunghoon Cho scored a fine 23 off 28 balls to help South Korea set a strong target.
In their reply, China continued to lose wickets at regular intervals that hampered their chances. Opening batsmabn Song Yang Yang top-scored with 18 as China succumed to a defeat by six runs. For South Korea, Hwanhee Lee claimed two wickets while Taekwan Park and Kyungsik Kim bagged one wicket each.
