The Australian and English squads came together for a combined team photo in order to promote the cricket charity called Cricket United. They share a fierce rivalry on the field and often indulge in decimating each other, but showed that they can come together for a good cause. Australia are defeated in this series having lost three of the four Tests so far, with a sole victory coming for them at Lord’s. Cricket United is an annual charity that forms a coalition of other popular cricket charities such as Lord’s Taverners that focuses on the betterment of youth cricket and cricket for disabled people, Chance to Shine which uses funds to promote cricket across schools and institutions across United Kingdom and PCA Benevolent Fund which is meant to help out cricketers in times of hardships, financial and otherwise. The teams will resume rivalry when they take on each other in the fifth and final Ashes Test at the Oval on August 20. Though the match is a dead rubber, there is always speculation around any Ashes Test and this game is no different.
