Australia’s chief selector Rod Marsh feels that the natural talent of all-rounders Glenn Maxwell and Mitchell Marsh are as good as any of the best players in the world. Marsh has pinned high hope son the two players and marked them as world-class players.

“Put it this way, those two blokes between them have as much natural talent as any two blokes in world cricket,” Rod Marsh said, while watching Australia’s training session in Dubai. South Africa’s AB de Villiers might be one (who has as much talent). He can do anything that bloke. Brilliant. But I don’t see too many other blokes around with as much natural talent as these blokes. What they’ve got to do is make runs and take wickets and become consistent players. That’s all we want,” Marsh was quoted as saying be the official website of Cricket Australia.

“It will be a pretty strong cricket team in a few years’ time if we can get these young blokes in and them being consistent, the world’s their oyster,” he added.

The duo have been grabbing headlines on a regular basis in the limited overs format. Marsh had a successful tour of Zimbabwe where he sizzled in the tri-series. He followed it up with impressive performances in the Champions League T20 2014.

On the other hand, Maxwell lit the Indian Premier League 2014 on fire with his stunning performances. Both these all-rounders are vying for their Test debut in the ongoing UAE tour where they will take on Pakistan in a few days.
