South Africa look to balance Test squad

The national selectors will list out names for the South African squad squad and reveal their strategy on re-balancing the team sans its all rounder player Jacques Kallis, for the Test series against the Australian side  in Johannesburg.

The squad for the Test series will be announced by the selectors on Wednesday. Expressing his sadness on Kallis’s absence, convenor Andrew Hudson said that he knew it was coming, adding the process has been about understanding the style of cricket that the team wants to play on an onward basis and then putting in place the correct personnel for that, Sports 24 reported. The three Tests at SuperSport Park, St George’s Park and finally Newlands have been scheduled back to back.
