Australia vs England, 1st ODI in Sydney: Chris Woakes gets George Bailey and Glenn Maxwell

George Bailey got out 10 to Chris Woakes after going for a wild slog. Australia need just 35 runs to win so, the wickets shouldn’t impede their progress. Glenn Maxwell was Woakes’ next wicket in the same over, for a duck. Australia are now at 200-4 after 37 overs. Australia, now will have to be a little more careful even though they’re comfortably on top at the moment. England may have a better chance to win if they get Warner’s wicket.

England had won the toss and had elected to bat first. Eoin Morgan has taken over Alastair Cook as captain and has some good players in the unit. Australia are not playing Mitchell Johnson in this game. Mitchell Starc and Pat Cummins are the main fast bowlers with Xavier Doherty as the spinner. Morgan’s century took England to 234 after they were struggling at 69 for five at one stage.
