Jos Buttler has been dismissed in the first One-Day International (ODI) against Australia. This is the first game of the tri-series and England had lost the first five wickets inside the first 20 overs. Buttler had then constructed a good partnership with Eoin Morgan to get his fifty. Morgan is already past his fifty.

Buttler tried to go over the top on the off-side. However, he found the man in the deep. The batting powerplay is in force here and Morgan is the main batsman now. Buttler could have exploited these overs, but has lost out on those opportunities.

England had won the toss and had elected to bat first. Eoin Morgan has taken over Alastair Cook as captain and has some good players in the unit. Australia are not playing Mitchell Johnson in this game. Mitchell Starc and Pat Cummins are the main fast bowlers with Xavier Doherty as the spinner.
