David Warner has reached his third One-Day International (ODI) ton during the first game of the tri-series against England at the Sydney Cricket Ground. Warner has been in magnificent touch through the summer and that good form has trickled into this ODI series against England and India. Both of them have to beware of him.

Australia are chasing 235 to win and are on course to victory. Warner has kept them in control of the game and has ensured that England have no chance of hitting back. The other batsmen in the team have batted around him and now with them requiring about 56 runs in about 17 overs this should not be a problem.

England had won the toss and had elected to bat first. Eoin Morgan has taken over Alastair Cook as captain and has some good players in the unit. Australia are not playing Mitchell Johnson in this game. Mitchell Starc and Pat Cummins are the main fast bowlers with Xavier Doherty as the spinner. Morgan’s century took England to 234 after they were struggling at 69 for five at one stage.
