Australia lost their first wicket with 30 runs on board during their ICC Cricket World Cup 2015 Pool A match against Scotland at the Bellerive Oval in Hobart on Saturday. Finch helped get Australia off to a flying start, smashing three fours and a six during his stay at the crease as the hosts looked to fly towards the meagre 131-run target set earlier by their opposition. Skipper Michael Clarke, who decided to open the innings in a surprise move, was batting on the other end at a score of 10 off 14 balls, scoring two boundaries during his stay at the crease. Scotland were earlier bowled out for a paltry score of 130 in 25.4 overs, with Mitchell Starc starring with ball with a haul of four for 14 in less than five overs. Starc moved to the top of the bowling charts as a result, getting 16 scalps to his credit at the end of the league stages. Starc was well-supported by comeback man Pat Cummins, who took three wickets for 42 in seven overs. Cummins was picked into the playing eleven in place of Xavier Doherty.
