South Africa had reached a score of 93 for the loss of two wickets after 12 overs in the third T20 against Australia played at Sydney. Quinton de Kock was dismissed by Pat Cummins adter he threatened to take the game away from the Australians. Rilee Rossouw was also dismissed by Cameron Boyce later as he tried to smash him out of the park.

South Africa started slow initially but blasted later as they reached a score of 53 for no loss after the first six overs . The initial two overs gave only 11 runs.

Glenn Maxwell who came on to bowl the second over conceded only five runs. But the damage started only in the fifth over as South Africa smashed 17 runs from it. The next over was also big as 13 runs came from it. It also changed the total equation. Maxwell bowled well in the the seventh over.  Quinton de Kock was looking good in the early overs.
