The ongoing 5th ODI between Australia and South Africa at the Sydney Cricket Ground (SCG) has witnessed a minor change with the required target being revised to 275 from 48 overs owing to the rain interruption that happened during Australia’s mid-innings.

South Africa earlier during the day batting first had set a target of 281 from 50 over. Australia were off to a flying start with David Warner scoring quickfire 21 of 16 deliveries before getting dismissed by Wayne Parnell. However, opener Aaron Finch and all-rounder Shane Watson have taken control to make sure Australia achieve the required target. they were on their way to a 50-run partnership stand for the second wicket when rain interrupted the play and later umpires decided to revise the equations.
