Australia are all set to take on South Africa for the first Test at W.A.C.A Stadium in Perth on Thursday. Australia, in contrast, had a terrifying outing with regards to Tests in this year. Though they reclaimed the No. 1 spot after defeating New Zealand, they lost the top spot to India after being whitewashed by Sri Lanka during their tour to the sub-continent. Australia have now their main players like Mitchell Starc, Josh Hazlewood, veteran Peter Siddle back to the side and knowing the havoc Nathan Lyon and Starc created in the Sri Lanka series, South Africa do need have certain points to be wary of. Australia have been whitewashed in Twenty20 International (T20I) and Test series this year, ODIs have not favoured them any luck. They do have cricketers like Shaun Marsh, Peter Neville and Adam Voges who can score centuries at the need of the hour. This time around, the captain Smith will expect that their batsmen do not depend only on their captain an deputy David Warner. South Africa have ruled twice over Australia during their tour Down Under. This time the Proteas will aim for a hat-trick and want to whitewash the Aussies on their home soil.
