Australia and West Indies clash on the third day of the ongoing second Test at the Melbourne Cricket Ground (MCG) on Monday, with West Indies set to resume from their overnight score of 91 for six. Darren Bravo, who scored a century in the first innings of the previous Test at Hobart, was unbeaten on 13 at the end of the day’s play, with debutant Carlos Brathwaite for company at the other end. West Indies trail Australia by another 460 runs with just four wickets in hand, which makes Australia the outright favourites to conquer them by a huge margin, and clinch the series on the third day itself. Jermaine Blackwood hit four boundaries and a six during his 46-ball cameo of 28, before becoming Lyon’s second victim of the day.
