Australia captain George Bailey has won the toss and elected to bat first against England in the first Twenty20 International in Hobart on January 29, 2014.

 

Leg-spinner James Muirhead and batsman Chris Lynn have been given their Australian debuts. Daniel Christian and Nathan Coulter-Nile will lead the attack for Australia.

 

Aaron Finch, Cameron White and Glenn Maxwell will be expected to do the bulk of the scoring.

 

England have gone in with Alex Hales and Michael Lumb to open with. Joe Root, Eoin Morgan, Ravi Bopara and Jos Buttler are in the side led by Stuart Broad.
