Following his Man-of-the-Series performance in the three-T20I series against Australia, Pakistan batsman Babar Azam has toppled Aaron Finch to become the No. 1 batsman in T20s. Babar, who scored 163 runs from three innings – his last five innings have produced four half-centuries – has jumped five places to lead the rankings. His teammate Fakhar Zaman has dropped three places to be at No.5

England openers Jason Roy also jumped five places to enter the top 10 rankings, scoring 69 off 36 in the one-off T20 against Sri Lanka. He is currently at No. 9 with a career-high of 688 points. The only Indian in the Top 10 T20 rankings is KL Rahul. India skipper Virat Kohli is at No. 13 with 671 points.

Among the bowlers, Adil Rashid has climbed to the No. 5 spot which means that the top five bowlers are all legspinners. The list is led by Afghanistan legspinner Rashid Khan, followed by Pakistan’s Shadab Khan, New Zealand’s Ish Sodhi, Yuzvendra Chahal of India and Rashid.

Billy Stanlake, who picked up seven wickets in the series, and Imad Wasim were the two latest entries in the top 10, whereas Pakistan’s Faheem Ashraf and Hasan Ali also moved up.
