Following the footsteps of the Indian cricket board, the Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) is formulating an idea of setting up a television channel to back its proposed T20 league similar to the Indian Premier League.

The Bangladesh board plans to launch a franchise-based T20 tournament next year and is expecting it to attract many high profile players from around the world, and also help in identifying fresh talent within the country.

The committee is headed by Media and communications Committee chairman Mohammed Jalal Yunus. The other members are Dewan Shafiul Arefin and Siraj Uddin Md Alamgir.
