The Bangladesh,Pakistan and Afghanistan cricket are under security threat in India, say Kolkata police. Bangladesh Pakistan and Afghanistan are scheduled to tour India for the ICC World T20 2016. The Pakistan team is still awaiting the permission of their government to give them permission to travel to India for the World Cup. Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) chairman Shahryar Khan has also made a request with the ICC that Pakistan be given permission to play their matches at neutral venues, due to security concerns. According to reports, it is believed that the Bangladesh and Afghanistan teams could be attacked by some religious parties. The Bangladesh cricket team will be based mainly out of Dharmasala in Himachal Pradesh. But if they manage to book their place in the Super 10 Stage, they will have to play a couple of matches in Kolkata. It is believed that the three teams will be staying at the same hotel in Kolkata and will be provided with the best security possible. Along with armed security forces, there will also be tanks present at the iconic Eden Gardens Stadium in Kolkata, according to the Kolkata Cricket Association (KCA). The Eden Gardens will also host the final of the ICC World T20 2016. These three teams along with Sri Lanka and India will be playing in the Asia Cup ahead of the ICC World T20 2016. The Asia Cup 2016 is being played in a T20 format for the very first time as it will provide the participating teams good practice ahead of the ICC World T20 2016.
