Bangladesh shot out for 433 against Zimbabwe

Nov 4, 2014

Bangladesh were bowled out for 433 against Zimbabwe on the second day of the 2nd Test at Khulna. All-rounder, Shakib Al Hasan remained the highest scorer of the innings with 135 runs. Follows him is opener, Tamim Iqbal who scored 109. Zimbabwe bowlers made a good comeback with the bowl as they dismissed Shakib and Shuvagata Hom on quick succession and that followed the collapse of the lower order failing to capitalise on the good work from both the centurions and the team ending up getting bowled out. Tinashe Panyangara, Tendai Chatara and Malcolm Waller claimed two wickets each.

However, it remains to be seen how the visitors perform with the bat and will they be able to go past the total set by Bangladesh. Being a game down in the two-match series it’s important for them to win this game to level the series and avoid disappointment.
