Afghanistan lost their second wicket in form of Karim Sadiq in the 12th over of their Asia Cup 2014 match against Bangladesh at Fatullah on Saturday.

Sadiq, who showed aggressive intent as he hit the left-arm Bangladesh spinner for a six, was foxed by a slower one off which he got a leading edge and the bowler took an easy catch. This was after  Shahzad was trapped in front of the wickets by Bangladesh bowler Rubel Hossain for two off eight balls.

Afghanistan were 43 for three after 14 overs. Nawroz Mangal and Asghar Stanikzai were at the crease.

Earlier during the toss, Bangladesh have won the toss and elected to bowl first. Captain Mushfiqur Rahim said that the pitch is dry and should be good chase. Afghanistan captain Mohammad Nabi says they are happy to bat first.
