Decision to tour Bangladesh 'individual': Bairstow

England will travel to Bangladesh amidst security fears for a three-match One-Day International (ODI) series, followed by a two-Test series. While many including the England limited-overs captain Eoin Morgan have expressed concerns, wicketkeeper-batsman Jonny Bairstow believes that it was an individual decision of player whether to tour Bangladesh or not. Following the attacks on foreigners in Dhaka on July 1, earlier this year, England have been skeptical to travel , but the ECB sent three-member team to check the security in place for the players and staff during the tour. “It is an individual decision. Every individual has to make a decision based on the stance they have,” Bairstow told Sky Sports News HQ at a Hardy’s Heartbeat of the Club initiative at Dunnington Cricket Club. “There have been safety concerns, but that is life. “There are going to be bits you are not happy with and you have to make a decision whether it is right or wrong [to go].  The ECB have put in place safety measures and they believe we are able to go. England are expected to fly to Bangladesh for a month on September 30.
