New Zealand take on Bangladesh in the first Twenty20 (T20I) at McLean Park, Napier on Tuesday. The live cricket streaming of the first T20I will be available on Sky Go. New Zealand have already whitewashed the three One-Day International (ODI) series and will look to inflict more pain on the visitors. The Black Caps won the first ODI by 77 runs, outclassed them in the second game by 67 runs whereas won the final match a dead rubber by 8 wickets. New Zealand will be keen on completing another clean sweep going into the T20I series in an unpredictable format. Nonetheless, New Zealand are the No. 1 side in ICC T20I rankings and will be favourites coming into the shorter format.

The Kiwis ended 2016 on a mixed note but had a win per cent of 80 in T20Is. They also reached the knockouts of the ICC World Twenty20 (WT20) 2016 held in India. A new-look side led by Kane Williamson entered the semi-finals without dropping a game in the group stages. They even hammered Mashrafe Mortaza’s side in the last group stage match and will be upbeat of repeating the same in home conditions. On the other hand, Bangladesh have dropped Mehedi Hasan and Tanbir Hayder and recalled Taijul Islam for the shortest format. They will be eager to start afresh after a one-sided ODI series.
