Bangladesh and Zimbabwe face each other in the second Twenty20 International (T20I) at Khulna of their ongoing four-match T20I series on Sunday. For Bangladesh, the wickets were taken by Mustafizur Rahman, Shakib Al Hasan and Al-Amin Hossain with Rahim and Shakib bagging two wickets each. On the other end, Hamilton Masakadza once again came in as Zimbabwe’s saviour, top-scored with 79 runs in 53 balls and hence helped Zimbabwe go past 150. However, a poor bowling and fielding eventually saw the total of 163 following short for the visitors.
According to ESPNCricinfo, Masakadza said, “I think it was more of positives from the way we started our batting and at some stages our spinners bowled well as well. So there were few positives to take out of the game.”
Meanwhile, Bangladesh’s Sabbir Rahman said, “I think winning the first game of the year was quite useful. This series is very important ahead of the Asia Cup. We want to win all four games.”
