Bangladeshi boy scores 300 in 50-overs cricket

Mostafizur Rahman, 14 year old school cricketer from Bangladesh achieved a huge feat when he scored a 125 ball 325 for his school at the Sheikh Kamal Stadium at Lalmonirhat, which is 354 km away from the capital Dhaka. It was a 50-overs match between Lalmonirhat Government High School and Giasuddin High School. He struck 35 fours and 19 sixes during his knock.

According to ‘Prathom Alo‘, Mostafizur’s team posted huge total of 515-9. Later they also dismissed the opponents for just 117 and won the match by a huge margin 398 runs. Mostafizur is a student of class ten in Lalmonirhat Government High School. In 2014 he was in in the Under 15 national camp of Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB). In the history of school cricket, triple centuries are quite rare. According to espncricinfo only three times it has been done at that level. Mostafizur’s innings ranks third on the list.
