The T10 league, played in United Arab Emirates, will feature six franchises from December 14 to 17. Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) have rejected Mustafizur Rahman s No Objection Certificate (NOC) to play for this league.

Mustafizur already had two injury breaks in his two-year career. BCB rejected the NOC as a precautionary measure, as Bangladesh play Sri Lanka in a home series next year, though his teammates Shakib al Hasan and Tamim Iqbal‘s NOC has been granted.

“We didn’t want to take risk with Mustafizur as there is an important series against Sri Lanka coming up shortly,” Khaled Mahmud, director of Bangladesh Cricket Board, told cricbuzz.

Rahman was expected to play the opening game of the tournament for Bengal Tigers against Shakib s Kerala Kings.
