Stoke got himself in the record books getting past Virender Sehwag’s second fastest double hundred off just 168 balls, with double ton 163 off balls. Coming back to the match Stokes and Jonny Bairstow also crossed their 250 run stand for sixth wicket, which is also the highest at Cape Town. England go into lunch brilliantly placed at for 5 with Stokes and Bairstow in the middle.Credit must also go to Bairstow, who batted with equal aggression and flash. Bairstow had also made a fifty in the second innings of the first Test. A total of 196 runs came this 25 over session. Chris Morris was the most unlucky of the bowler as Stokes hit as many as 16 boundaries to score a total of 77 runs in the 53 balls he faced.South African bowlers sprayed the ball all over the pitch without any idea of line or length to bowl at English batsmen.
