Bengaluru Police said that they are confident of locating 'missing bats’ of Ireland batsman Niall O'Brien's after six cricket bats went missing during his team's five-wicket loss to India on Sunday.

Bengaluru Police said that they are confident of locating ‘missing bats’ of Ireland batsman Niall O’Brien’s after six cricket bats went missing during his team’s five-wicket loss to India on Sunday.

 

Niall had reported the bats as missing when they failed to arrive at Ireland’s hotel with the rest of the team’s equipment after the match at M. Chinnaswamy Stadium.

 

“The case is being investigated and we hope to trace the bag soon,” Fox Sports quoted a Bangalore police spokesman, as saying.

 

Ireland’s next World Cup Group B game is against the West Indies at Mohali on Friday.
