Chasing a small total of 134, Pakistan had a disastrous start as debutant Bhubaneshwar Kumar impressed with the ball, picking up three wickets and reducing Pakistan to 12 for three.

Kumar opened the bowling for India and setup the wicket of Nasir Jamshed beautifully. He bowled five deliveries that went away from the left-hander while the last one straightened after pitching on his off-stump and went through his defence to castle the stumps.

Captain MS Dhoni bowled out all four overs from Kumar, who ended his four over spell with three for nine.
Ashok Dinda and first-change bowler Ishant Sharma did well to keep the batsmen from scoring freely.

Pakistan still need 89 runs to win from the remaining 10 overs.

Brief Scores: India 133 for 9 (Gautam Gambhir 43, Ajinkya Rahane 42; Saeed Ajmal 2 for 25, Umar Gul 3 for 21) vs Pakistan45 for 3 (Mohammad Hafeez 18*, Shoaib Malik 17*; Bhubaneshwar Kumar 3 for 9)
