The Sydney Sixers bowlers have been phenomenal sending five batsmen back to the hut for just 57 runs within the 10th over leaving the Adelaide Strikers little hope in chase of 182. Sean Abbott was the pick of the bowlers taking two wickets for 14 runs.

Even Brett Lee bowled well but is yet to reap reward. Doug Bollinger, Nathan Lyon and Steve O’Keefe picked a wicket each. The bolwing was accurate and didn’t give the batsmen opportunity to free arms resulting in pressure build-up.

Earlier, the Sixer amassed 181 runs on the back of a brilliant 85-run knock by Nic Maddinson. Adelaide Strikers failed to make most of home advantage and majority of the 50,000-strong crowd at Adelaide Oval will go home disappointed.
