Agelessness is synonymous with Australia s Brad Hogg. The 46-year-old chinaman bowler has inked an extension with with Big Bash League (BPL) franchise Melbourne Renegades. The deal will last for a year, and will see Hogg play in the upcoming 2017-18 season for them. Hogg joined Renegades in 2016-17.

Speaking about the deal, Hogg told Fox Sports, Look out Melbourne, I m coming back. I had such a good time during the last BBL season and the fire to compete is burning strongly. I can t wait to get back into the sporting cauldron in Melbourne again with Finchy and the rest of the guys.

It must be noted that Hogg suffered a knee injury earlier this year. A little bit of maintenance is required these days to keep the machine running perfectly but I m feeling good and looking forward to getting back into it, Hogg explained.

Hogg represented Perth Scorchers in BBL prior to Renegades, having won three championship titles with them.

Hogg in a recent interview said the has no plans to retire from international cricket and is looking for opportunities to prove his mantle. Hogg is keen to emulate Ashish Nehra, who has received his T20 call for India aged, 38.
