Brazil’s Gabriel Jesus Ruled Out For Rest Of FIFA World Cup 2022 Due To Knee Injury

Doha: In a major to their FIFA World Cup 2022 ambitions, Brazil will be missing the services of striker Gabriel Jesus for the rest of the tournament due to injury. Brazil have been plagued with injuries in this edition, the most notable being Neymar missing two group games.

According to Italian football journalist Fabrizio Romano, Jesus has pain in his knee and will be out of action till January next year.

Favourites to win the title, Brazil won two and lost one in the group stages to qualify for the round of 16 in the ongoing FIFA World Cup 2022. The five-time champions will be facing South Korea for a place in quarterfinals on Monday.
