Social media is pouring out expressing their frustration over Ishant Sharma who conceded 30 runs in the 48th over which changed the game around in Australia’s favour. Needing 40 runs in the last three overs, India looked on course for a victory. However, James Faulkner launched a brutal onslaught on Sharma hitting four sixes and a boundary. The sequence of the runs were 4, 6, 6, 2, 6, 6.  Faulkner ended the match with a six as well eventually scoring 64 runs in just 29 balls.

Below are some of the tweets on Faulkner’s heroics and Ishant’s forgettable few minutes.

Pretty creative description of Ishant’s over

Yes, Ishant was really Man of the Match for Australia’s point of view!

Ishant Sharma’s bowling has surely fuelled some confidence in the minds of cricket-crazy fans in India

Well that’s a broader perspective to the happenings in Delhi and rest of India

MS Dhoni would surely vouch for that considering the quality of death overs bowlers in his team.

Remember that World Cup 2011 match against South Africa when Robin Peterson took on Ashish Nehra, and that’s not the only one.
