Brendon McCullum becomes 3rd cricketer to go past 6,000 T20 runs after Chris Gayle and Brad Hodge

New Zealand and Chennai Super Kings (CSK) batsman Brendon McCullum became the third batsman to go past 6,000 runs in Twenty20 (T20) cricket during Indian Premier League (IPL) Match 49 between CSK and Delhi Daredevils (DD) at Raipur on Tuesday. Unsurprisingly, Chris Gayle heads the list of leading run-scorers with a whopping 7,345 runs. He remains the only batsman with over 7,000 T20 runs. He also enjoys by far the best average and strike rate among the top five, and has scored 14 centuries — comfortably the highest by any batsman. McCullum is the next best with six hundreds.
