Brendon McCullum and BJ Watling have recorded the highest partnership for New Zealand against India in Test cricket. The duo have added 290 runs together against India in the second innings of the second Test in Wellington on February 17, 2014.
New Zealand are at 384 for five after 138 overs on Day Four. They lead India by 138 runs. McCullum is batting on 192 and Watling is on 103. This is McCullum’s ninth century and Watling’s third.
This partnership is also New Zealand’s second highest for the sixth wicket overall. There is another record this stand has created. This is New Zealand’s second highest second innings partnership in Test cricket.
