Former Australia cricketer Brett Lee has been playing guitar amidst underprivileged children in order to raise awareness for the charity – Mewsic India Foundation. The foundation has helped 1,200 children so far.

 

“While sport is my life, music is my passion. And it’s a proven fact that music has a lot of therapeutic benefits. So I thought, what better way to start a program over here?”, Lee was quoted as saying by The Wall Street Journal.

 

Lee who has retired from international cricket, has played 76 Test matches for Australia, and taken an impressive 310 wickets. Lee was equally effective in One-Day Internationals too, and in the 221 matches he has played, he has taken 380 wickets.
