Perth Scorchers won their second Big Bash League title as they beat Sydney Sixers by four wickets in a thrilling final at the Manuka Oval in Canberra on Wednesday.

It was also Australia’s one off great bowlers, Brett Lee‘s final match in professional cricket as he had earlier announced this month that he would be retiring from competitive cricket, following the Big Bash League.

The 20th over of the Scorchers innings saw a good drama with a boundary off the first ball off Lee by Michael Carberry. But Lee soon striked back with two consecutive wickets in the form of Nathan Coulter-Nile and Sam Whiteman for seven and a golden duck, respectively.
