After deliberating and struggling to get things under way — Tim Southee and Trent Boult’s bowling had a major part to play there, Robin Peterson decided to get a move on with the score and smashed two cracking boundaries with the run-rate mounting with every passsing minuite. The maverick, Hashim Amla was also slowly beginning to get into the game as a few boundaries got the score a move on.

In what was one of the premier batting displays witnessed in the tournament so far, the bowlers kept erring in line and Williamson mixed his charecteristic elegance with the savagery precision of Suresh Raina on song for Chennai Super Kings (CSK).
